After taking a look back at the 2021 USA Olympic Baseball roster, I was underwhelmed like most people were. I immediately compared the Olympics roster to the one the United States had in the 2017 WBC. I could not help but try to project what the roster could look like in 2023 when the WBC is likely to be back. Below is what my 28-man roster would look like for the USA if I was in charge of sending out the invitations. I am projecting the roster as if there were no player opt-outs.
